nothing beats fresh made lemonade
On a hot summer day, nothing beats fresh made lemonade.
- Start by soaking 4-5 lemons in hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Roll each lemon on the counter before cutting in half.
- Squeeze as much juice out of each half using a lemon squeezer.
- This should create about 2 cups of lemon juice.
- Put this in a 2 quart pitcher and add 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
- Fill up the pitcher with water and stir until the sugar disolves.
- Serve with ice in a glass.
This has some pucker to it, but it is is so thirst-quenching! Completely satisfying! Pour yourself a cold glass, grab your favorite book, magazine, or newspaper and head over to your hammock. Don't forget your reading sunglasses or else you'll have to get up again. Unless of course you're loved ones love enough to get them for you.
