I have been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old and have always hated it and found it to be a nuisance. My first pair of eyeglasses were pink with Smurfette on the side. I actually lost them and my friend’s father found them before he mowed them with the lawnmower.

The pair I have now don’t have a bottom rim so they blend in pretty well and they are a pretty champagne color which is a change for me, I typically got tortoise shell. I figured it was time to change my style.

Finding a pair of glasses that look nice and feel right is the challenge to wearing them right, but it can be done and done with style. I think trying on as many pairs as you can helps you see what will look right since you will be wearing them for a while you might as well take the time to find the right pair.

For the most part wearing glasses is awkward, but at least liking the pair you have can make it easier to live with.
