I have one eye that is near sighted and one that is far sighted, so I need my glasses for driving or close up work, such as reading or computer work. I have had several pair of glasses, as I tend to be very hard on them, because I am constantly putting them on and taking them off - and I'm not very gentle about it, either!

I have had all kinds of glasses - bendable, plastic, metal reading glasses, ones with snap on sunglasses and the ones that darken in the light.

My favorite pair, however, are my Kate Spade glasses. They have a medium tint and anti-reflective and scratch resistant coatings. The weight is perfect - I often forget I have them on! Also, the temples don't stretch as others do when I put them on top of my head. They are also a darker color, something I had always stayed away from, but wanted something different. They are metal frames, but they have a heavy plastic coating on the part of the temples that go over my ears, which makes them very comfortable.
