I have a pair of eyeglasses that I have owned for over five years. And, let me just say, that they are failing fast. I have a history of not taking the best care of my glasses and this pair has undergone the worst abuse by far.

I have stepped on them and slept on them. I lose them at least twice a day. I know my prescription has changed as I find myself squinting even when wearing them. The real kicker is that my dog has even chewed on them leaving cute little bite marks all over the lenses.

They are so bad that I only wear them at home as they are not suitable for public viewing. I know I obviously need a new pair and I do not know why I keep putting it off. I guess as beat up as they are, I actually am quite attached to them.
