I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was 5 years old. In the 1960s I remember a pair of cat eye glasses that I look back on now and just howl about. One of worst memories of my glasses was going on a school field trip and getting pushed into this little lake and I lost my glasses in there. I am pretty much blind without them and I remember having to ride the bus all the way back to school without being able to see anything. That was horrid.

I now have a pair that are red, with red black graph paper type design on the inside of the frames. When I ordered them the technician said they looked very “French”. Whatever that means.

I have had many pairs of glasses and contacts over the years. I much prefer the current selection of frames along with the thin and lightweight plastics the lenses are now being made with.
