A Second Pair
I have two pairs of glasses. One pair is for driving at night to cut down on the glare of the lights, and one is for reading and magnification.
I am somewhat nearsighted, and that is why I need them. I had some trouble on the eye exam "wiggly line" test. Both pairs were made by Adrienne Vittadinni for LensCrafters, where I also go for EyeExam 2000.
They were fairly expensive even after the discounts from Auto Club and Blue Cross. I could probably do better somewhere else, but I don't want a Costco membership card just to get glasses. They both came with very sturdy hinged holders that protect them well. They are small frames, feminine in style; one is pinkish and the other is more gold. I use the pink pair for as my reading glasses. I used to have enormous frames but they looked awful on me. I have attached a stretchy band to the reading pair so they will stay around my neck if I don't need them for reading.

Instead of a "stretchy band" you should check out my NECGLASSES Eyewear Jewelry. Very feminine. Very beautiful. They also can be worn as a necklace when they're not doing duty as reading glass saviors. They'll only be available on my site (see url: http://www.denisesolaydesigns.com/pages/3378/NECGLASSES.htm) for another 2 months and after that for considerably more at select high-end optical retailers. (The jewelry will still be available online.)
BTW: I love your blog.
