Thin Metal Eyeglass Rims That Last a Lifetime
I've been wearing this same pair of eyeglasses for six years. They are thin metal-rimmed with small oval lenses. It took me a while to find a pair that fit my face well.
These glasses do a good job and I'll probably end up keeping them for a few more years. My only complaint would be the nose pieces. They originally were a clear plastic but over the years have turned somewhat yellow.

Note - the nosepads are probably the easiest and least expensive thing to replace on a pair of glasses. It is very common for them to discolor with age. Just bring them in to your optician for a "tune up" and those specs will be just like new.
