I've owned two pairs of eyeglasses so far. My first pair was unimpressive, and my vision wasn't bad enough to bug me not wearing them. I didn't like wearing glasses until the last few months that I had the first pair. My second pair I liked very much. I had to work to get them to look even, but they were transitions lenses, which was very nice when walking outdoors. The transitions glasses got me so used to having something dim the sun when I went outside that when I got contacts I could barely stand to go outside. Now that I need reading glasses, I have reading sunglasses when I go outdoors.

This method compliments my contact lenses, which I prefer them very much to regular glasses, though they did take some getting used to.
